Tiered Assessments

Overview

At the Center for Accessible Technology we offer student/client centered evaluation and implementation services. We work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and thorough insights into access tools and implementation strategies. The consideration of Assistive Technology (AT) is an ongoing dynamic process of exploring and integrating tools to help a student or client complete a task in a given environment. The AT consideration process can be formal or informal - our services include several tiers of both informal and formal Assistive Technology Considerations:

• Tier 1: Informal Assessment
• Tier 2: Consultation Assessment
• Tier 3: Team Assessment

Optional additional services:

• IEP or attendance: 2 hours
• Follow-up consultation:at least 5 hours
